About the position

The Senior Business Analyst (SBA) will play a crucial role in the implementation of a new EIM/ESM application focused on contract management, billing, invoicing, and reporting across various agencies. This position involves close collaboration with vendor staff, agency and provider users, and executive leadership to ensure the successful execution of the project, which includes design, testing, and post-production support.

Responsibilities

• Communicate project status to stakeholders, vendors, and project leaders.
• Manage requirements traceability and support development and testing.
• Coordinate project activities and document key decisions.
• Identify risks and communicate them to management.
• Collaborate with application teams, vendors, and technical teams.
• Prepare project documentation, job aids, and communication materials.

Requirements

• 2+ years in IT business analysis and project management.
• Experience working with diverse stakeholders, ideally in the public sector.
• Technical background with experience in software development and web technologies.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with IT environments and technical concepts.
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with cross-functional teams and senior management.

Nice-to-haves

• Preferred experience in public sector/HHS IT and familiarity with HIPAA EDI standards.
