About the position

The Business Analyst - Commerce Trust position at Commerce Bank involves collaborating with business partners to gather, analyze, design, and document business requirements for projects of moderate to high complexity. The role is essential in ensuring that the financial services provided by Commerce Trust are tailored to meet client needs through effective communication and project management.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, design and document business and functional requirements of moderate to high complexity in an Agile environment.
• Formulate and define systems modifications and enhancements based on user needs and knowledge of applicable business systems and industry requirements.
• Manage application testing; develop test plans, test scripts and complete acceptance testing for projects of varying degrees of complexity and system upgrades.
• Coordinate communication on application issues between internal customers and external vendors/IT partners as part of the project implementation.
• Create and manage implementation plan for production roll out of new products or processes.
• Develop, document and enhance system processes, as appropriate.
• Create and update training and administration documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• 4+ years experience in a business analyst or similar role required.
• Experience with software testing required.
• Intermediate knowledge of the software development life cycle preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of wealth management or banking systems preferred.
• Strong customer-service and relationship building skills.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Effective ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
• Ability to communicate in user-friendly language to both technical and non-technical end-users.
• Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Agile methodology preferred.
