About the position

The Business Analyst Consultant will support the FILI Term Life Insurance product by leading multiple initiatives aimed at enhancing the core business and scaling technology solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and integrating systems into the broader Fidelity enterprise. The consultant will focus on building new capabilities into the term quote and application tool while improving existing processes to maximize efficiency and protect more lives.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple squad initiatives to grow the core business and scale technology solutions.
• Build new capabilities into the FILI term quote and application tool.
• Streamline and improve existing customer experiences for efficiency.
• Integrate systems and applications into the broader Fidelity enterprise.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements for developers and designers.
• Develop project plans or roadmaps for the squad and ensure timely delivery by mitigating risks and obstacles.
• Conduct business acceptance and validation testing, leading the team through the release cycle.
• Build positive relationships with cross-functional teams, vendors, and leadership.
• Act as a subject matter expert for the development team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 5-8 years of experience.
• Familiarity with life insurance products, such as annuities, is a plus.
• Experience in digital or mobile offerings is a plus.
• Ability to work with ambiguity and gather data to resolve issues.
• Proven ability to lead initiatives and take accountability for program success.
• Experience managing large scale technical programs with multiple deliverables.
• Strong facilitation and influencing skills to build relationships with teams and vendors.
• Proficiency in business acceptance testing and release management.
