About the position

The Business Analyst will play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of business operations, particularly in innovation and digital projects. This position serves as a bridge between IT and business, focusing on assessing processes, determining requirements, and delivering data-driven recommendations to executives and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to refine and implement the innovation strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Analyze business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement or automation.
  • Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives for improving processes in operating systems across the organization.
  • Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
  • Perform requirements analysis and compile detailed reports.
  • Effectively communicate insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
  • Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce useful reports.
  • Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements.
  • Manage projects, develop project plans, and monitor performance.
  • Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
  • Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
  • Manage competing resources and priorities.
  • Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects.

Requirements

  • BA/BS required;
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Experience with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Experience with data analysis and making data-driven recommendations.
  • 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in the financial services sector.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello).
  • Deep understanding of financial services and digital products.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in the industry or region of operation.
  • Understanding of customer experience in financial services.
  • Strong understanding of Lean Portfolio Management principles and practices.

Nice-to-haves

  • Strong understanding and ability to facilitate discussions on business capabilities, value streams and organizing around value.
