About the position

The Business Analyst - Digital Engineering at Carhartt is responsible for collaborating with business partners, vendors, and IT groups to capture business requirements, develop business processes, and manage project quality assurance through implementation. This role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment between business and IT throughout various projects.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate workshops, gather business requirements, map business processes, document customer journeys, and author business requirements.
• Design and implement new or enhanced operational processes to meet key business objectives.
• Support the business in the creation of business requirements and functional specifications to support corporate strategy and improve system functionality.
• Create functional specifications and collaborate with stakeholders across the business and IT.
• Work with project management teams to create and manage project plans and maintain schedules.
• Provide regular oral and written project updates to stakeholders, identifying risks, opportunities, and timelines.
• Develop business process guides for end users.
• Define business test cases and manage the user acceptance testing process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree Required; equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• 3 years of Business Analyst experience required; 1 year or more of eCommerce or IT experience strongly preferred.
• Apparel, retail, or consumer products manufacturing experience preferred.
• Demonstrated advanced proficiency in Project, Word, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong oral and written communication, organization, time management, and analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and on budget.
• Experience in requirements gathering and stakeholder management.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a persuasive and assertive approach.
