About the position

The Business Analyst - Financial/Internal Auditor role at TEKsystems involves providing financial information and analysis for the IT organization. Responsibilities

• Provide financial information for the IT organization through analysis and reporting.
• Identify risks and trends to assist IT financial leadership in decision-making.
• Recommend improvements to systems, practices, and procedures based on invoice and expense report reviews.
• Oversee day-to-day business operations.
• Lead and direct the work of others as needed.
• Manage all incoming invoices for IT payments.
• Oversee the inbox of invoices, ensuring correct submissions from vendors and that all contracts have purchase orders.
• Act as the internal auditor for all IT invoices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, or Finance.
• 2-3 years of experience in Financial Analysis or Procurement Accounting.
• Ability to accurately record transactions and maintain financial records.
• Experience performing reconciliations and resolving discrepancies using reporting tools.
• Ability to identify and raise potential financial issues and solutions.
• Experience overseeing and maintaining various workflows and financial processes.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
• Background in tax office or accounts payable in a for-profit business environment.
