The FP&A Systems Strategy and Enablement team is a dynamic and integral part of Corporate FP&A. We are seeking a highly motivated, driven, and intellectually curious Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support a wide range of analytical tasks, contributing directly to our FP&A systems transformation roadmap. You will play a critical role in driving key initiatives, identifying opportunities for process improvements, and ensuring the successful execution of projects that enhance our financial processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Support Finance Transformation Initiatives: Collaborate with finance and cross-functional teams to support and drive key projects aimed at transforming and improving financial systems and processes while ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. Develop, maintain, and deliver accurate and timely reports, dashboards, and presentations that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Project Management Support: Assist in the planning, execution, and tracking of finance-related projects. Manage timelines, deliverables, and communication to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with both functional and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, understand needs, and translate them into clear and actionable plans. Ensure alignment between project objectives and business goals.
  • Documentation and Communication: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for projects, processes, and systems. Communicate findings, progress, and recommendations clearly and effectively to all levels of the organization.
  • Risk Management and Issue Resolution: Identify potential risks and issues related to finance projects and processes. Work proactively to develop mitigation strategies and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Support Decision-Making: Provide analytical support to senior management by preparing data-driven insights and recommendations that inform strategic decisions.
  • Continuous Learning and Development: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to finance transformation. Apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the team.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, or related position, preferably within a finance or corporate setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Experience in supporting project management activities, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to various audiences.
  • Demonstrate ability to collaborate with and manage relationships with diverse stakeholders, including technical teams and senior leadership.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all work outputs.
  • Experience in identifying process inefficiencies and implementing improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Ability to quickly learn new concepts, systems, and tools. Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and environments.
  • Proven ability to think critically and creatively to address complex challenges and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with financial planning or modeling is preferred.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and PM software platforms such as Smartsheets, Airtable, JIRA etc is a plus.
  • Technical proficiency in planning tools such as Anaplan, TM1 or Adaptive Planning.
