About the position

Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Business Analyst to join the Global Development Operations (GDO) Excellence team. This position is a contract role based in Lawrenceville, NJ, with a duration of 6 months. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in partnering with the GDO Excellence Lead, Business Leads, Technical Leads, and Subject Matter Experts to ensure the successful execution of various projects. Your primary responsibilities will include reviewing and assessing requests, exploring ideas and enhancements, and evaluating global requirements and ongoing business-driven change initiatives. You will support the development of value-driven business cases and well-defined implementation plans, establishing effective relationships with subject matter experts and business stakeholders. This collaboration is essential to ensure that the business and IT deliver solutions that align with business strategies and functional priorities. A strong understanding of existing business processes and systems within the Global Development Operations organization is vital for this role. Additionally, you will assist in writing and updating Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions to support the implementation of solutions. The ideal candidate for this position will possess a Bachelor's degree in science or technology, along with at least 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in Clinical Operations. You should have a solid background in financial analysis and process mapping, as well as intermediate to advanced skills with Visio and the MS Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel. A basic understanding of drug development and major clinical systems is required, along with the ability to analyze complex sets of data and provide actionable insights. You will also be responsible for developing functional requirements, user stories, and processes that align business key process flows with system requirements, as well as writing and updating process documentation, training materials, and presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Business Analyst on the Global Development Operation Excellence team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in science or technology.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in Clinical Operations.
  • 4+ years of experience with financial analysis and Process Mapping.
  • Intermediate to Advanced skills with Visio and MS Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel (pivot tables, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of drug development and major clinical systems is required.
  • Foundational understanding of key business processes and workflows of clinical operations.
  • Ability to analyze complex sets of data and provide insights.
  • Ability to support and provide appropriate feedback for the development and enhancements of business processes and systems.
  • Ability to develop functional requirements, user stories, and processes to align business key process flows with system requirements.
  • Skilled in writing and updating process documentation, training materials, and presentations.
