About the position

The position is for a Business Analyst at Rise, a full-service Media Agency that leverages data and technology to create omnichannel experiences. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders to enhance processes and systems, conducting research and analysis to design effective solutions, and ensuring the quality and adoption of these solutions to deliver business value. Responsibilities

  • Work alongside business stakeholders to improve processes and systems.
  • Conduct research and analysis to design solutions that meet the needs of internal customers and end users.
  • Ensure the quality and adoption of implemented solutions and the realization of business value.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of lean and agile principles.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, software developers, product owners, and solutions architects.
  • Influence others through effective change management to create efficiencies and best practices.
  • Understand business needs through the lens of the customer/user.
  • Actively learn and utilize industry best practices and leverage feedback from peers.
  • Apply knowledge of basic technical solutioning to assist in planning and developing solutions.
  • Demonstrate internal software to technical staff or end users/clients.
  • Focus on user needs assessment, root cause analysis, requirement gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, and current/future state representation.
  • Analyze processes and production methods to ensure efficiency and project completion.
  • Provide expert advice on specific processes and enhance company internal processes for future projects.
  • Identify inefficiencies and errors and provide solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of Business Analyst or comparable experience preferred.
  • Experience in agile and scrum environments.
  • Effective listening and communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn/master software systems.
  • Exceptional communication, documentation, and writing skills.
  • Ability to build and grow rapport with business partners, colleagues, and subject matter experts.
  • Timely delivery of assigned tasks.
  • Organized, accurate, and detail-oriented.
  • Proactive in learning team and department standards.
  • Open to giving and receiving peer/team feedback.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Proficient with Visio/Draw IO preferred.
  • Experience in Cloud Service Providers (Azure, AWS) preferred.
  • Critical thinking skills.
