About The Position

The Business Analyst II (GBSC) role at Mastercard focuses on providing centralized billing services through the MasterCard Consolidated Billing System (MCBS). Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Prior Business Analyst and Project life-cycle experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Access or relational databases is desirable.
  • Basic knowledge of business processes and development life cycle preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter and able to manage multiple projects.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with project management methodologies.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business owners and release manager/lead to understand new business opportunities and define business and functional requirements.
  • Deliver high quality business and functional requirements to development teams for design, coding, testing, and implementation phases.
  • Coordinate and participate in review, revisions, changes, enhancements, testing, documentation, and member notification of product enhancements.
  • Provide business knowledge and technical support for requirements development.
  • Work closely with developers and requesters to identify data and functional requirements in the design of new/enhanced systems.
  • Ensure development objectives are accomplished, user testing is performed, and member notification is prepared in a timely fashion.
  • Consult with Business Owners on projects and develop business and functional requirements.
  • Document and coordinate changes and enhancements of products and services.
  • Prepare and/or present documentation of business/technical presentations.
  • Evaluate business requests to determine feasibility and recommend optimal solutions.
