About the position

The IT Business Analyst II at Resurgent Capital Services plays a crucial role in defining business requirements, analyzing and documenting them, troubleshooting user issues, and conducting quality assurance testing as part of the software development lifecycle. This position offers significant autonomy and the opportunity to collaborate closely with technology and business teams to drive impactful change within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with stakeholders and other IT resources to define business requirements for new technology implementations.
• Clarify hardware and software requirements with the IT development and support staff.
• Document detailed requirements to clearly define the business needs, benefits, and deliverables for each project.
• Acquire a working knowledge of existing technical processes and apply this knowledge to assigned tasks and projects.
• Collaborate with Business Solutions Team Members to complete project-related tasks as needed.
• Provide service and support to IT customers.
• Follow all security guidelines and comply with privacy and security policies.
• Maintain a complete and accurate record of all project work.
• Travel as required to accomplish business needs.

Requirements

• 3+ years of overall experience in IT or as a business liaison for IT is required.
• Past experience as a Business Analyst or Application Developer is preferred.
• Strong knowledge and practice using SQL, with experience in SQL Server required.
• Strong customer service, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to proficiently analyze and document customer requirements and processes of varying complexity.
• Comfortable working in ambiguous and/or stressful situations.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in problem solving and analysis.
• Ability to change priorities quickly and handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools is required.
• Must be able to travel when needed.
