We are seeking experienced insurance professionals to join our team as Operations Business Analysts, where you will play a crucial role in supporting our insurance carrier and MGA clients. In this remote position, you will have the flexibility to customize your work schedule, whether you prefer full-time or part-time hours. Your extensive insurance knowledge will be invaluable as you liaise with various operational areas, including underwriting, accounting, compliance, and information technology. You will be responsible for translating conceptual customer requirements into clear functional requirements, ensuring that our technical teams can effectively implement solutions. As an Operations Business Analyst, you will manage multi-state, multi-line accounts throughout the policy life cycle, which includes rating, pricing, quoting, and issuing policies. You will also participate in the development of operational KPIs and service standards, process transactions, and navigate complex workflows based on specific business lines and regulations. A strong understanding of industry standards and regulations, particularly in Cyber, Technology Errors and Omissions, and Privacy/Security Liability, will be essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with various operational areas such as underwriting, accounting, compliance, audit, and information technology.
  • Translate conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to technicians.
  • Manage multi-state, multi-line accounts throughout the policy life cycle, including rating, pricing, quoting, and issuing policies.
  • Participate in the development of operational KPIs and service standards.
  • Process transactions and follow varied workflows dependent upon line of business, company, state, specific rules, and regulations.
  • Analyze and interpret various bureaus (ISO, AAIS, and/or NCCI) and/or company proprietary rate, rules, and forms.

Requirements

  • 25 years of full-time work experience.
  • 10 recent years of insurance industry experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Ability to analyze and interpret various bureaus (ISO, AAIS, and/or NCCI) and/or company proprietary rate, rules, and forms - preferred but not required.
  • Current knowledge of Cyber, Technology Errors and Omissions, and/or Privacy/Security Liability.
