As a Business Analyst in Insurance Operations, you will play a crucial role in liaising with various operational areas such as underwriting, accounting, compliance, audit, and information technology. Your responsibilities will include translating conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements that are clear and comprehensible to technicians. You will manage multi-state, multi-line accounts throughout the policy life cycle, which includes rating, pricing, quoting, and issuing policies, as well as handling related account activities. Additionally, you will participate in the development of operational KPIs and service standards, process transactions, and follow varied workflows based on the specific line of business, company, and state regulations. We are looking for candidates who possess a high demand for current knowledge in Cyber, Technology Errors and Omissions, and/or Privacy/Security Liability. While familiarity with analyzing and interpreting various bureaus such as ISO, AAIS, and/or NCCI is preferred, it is not a strict requirement. Responsibilities

  • Liaise with various operational areas such as underwriting, accounting, compliance, audit, information technology, etc.
  • Translate conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to technicians.
  • Manage multi-state, multi-line accounts throughout the policy life cycle including rating/pricing, quoting, and issuing policies.
  • Participate in the development of operational KPIs and service standards.
  • Process transactions and follow varied workflows dependent upon line of business, company, state, specific rules, and regulations.
  • Analyze and interpret various bureaus (ISO, AAIS, and/or NCCI) and/or company proprietary rate, rules, and forms (preferred but not required).
  • Maintain current knowledge of Cyber, Technology Errors and Omissions, and/or Privacy/Security Liability.

Requirements

  • 25 years of full-time work experience
  • 10 recent years of insurance industry experience

Nice-to-haves

  • Ability to analyze and interpret various bureaus (ISO, AAIS, and/or NCCI) and/or company proprietary rate, rules, and forms.
