This remote position is designed for those who have significant experience in the insurance sector and are looking to leverage that knowledge in a supportive and dynamic environment. As a Business Analyst in Insurance Operations, you will play a crucial role in liaising with various operational areas such as underwriting, accounting, compliance, audit, and information technology. Your ability to translate conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements will be essential in ensuring that our technical teams can deliver effective solutions. You will manage multi-state, multi-line accounts throughout the policy life cycle, which includes rating, pricing, quoting, and issuing policies, as well as handling related account activities. In this role, you will also participate in the development of operational KPIs and service standards, process transactions, and follow varied workflows based on the line of business, company, state, and specific rules and regulations. A strong understanding of various bureaus such as ISO, AAIS, and/or NCCI, as well as proprietary rates, rules, and forms, is preferred but not mandatory. We are particularly interested in candidates with current knowledge of Cyber, Technology Errors and Omissions, and/or Privacy/Security Liability.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multi-state, multi-line accounts throughout the policy life cycle, including rating, pricing, quoting, and issuing policies.
  • Participate in the development of operational KPIs and service standards.
  • Process transactions and follow varied workflows dependent upon line of business, company, state, specific rules, and regulations.
  • Analyze and interpret various bureaus (ISO, AAIS, and/or NCCI) and/or company proprietary rate, rules, and forms.

Requirements

  • 25 years of full-time work experience.
  • 10 recent years of insurance industry experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Ability to analyze and interpret various bureaus (ISO, AAIS, and/or NCCI) and/or company proprietary rate, rules, and forms - preferred but not required.
  • High demand for current knowledge of Cyber, Technology Errors and Omissions, and/or Privacy/Security Liability.
