As a Business Analyst in Insurance Operations, you will play a crucial role in liaising with various operational areas such as underwriting, accounting, compliance, audit, and information technology. Your ability to translate conceptual customer requirements into clear functional requirements will be essential for effective communication with technical teams. You will manage multi-state, multi-line accounts throughout the policy life cycle, which includes tasks such as rating/pricing, quoting, and issuing policies, as well as handling related account activities. Additionally, you will participate in the development of operational KPIs and service standards, ensuring that our processes align with industry best practices. This position requires a keen analytical mindset, as you will need to process transactions and follow varied workflows based on the line of business, company policies, state regulations, and specific rules. Familiarity with analyzing and interpreting various bureaus such as ISO, AAIS, and/or NCCI, as well as company proprietary rates, rules, and forms, is preferred but not mandatory. A strong understanding of Cyber, Technology Errors and Omissions, and/or Privacy/Security Liability is highly desirable, given the current demands of the industry.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 25 years of full-time work experience.
  • 10 recent years of insurance industry experience.

  • Ability to analyze and interpret various bureaus (ISO, AAIS, and/or NCCI) and/or company proprietary rate, rules, and forms - preferred but not required.
  • High demand for current knowledge of Cyber, Technology Errors and Omissions, and/or Privacy/Security Liability.
