We are currently seeking Operations Business Analysts to assist our insurance carrier and MGA clients. In this role, you will liaise with various operational areas, including underwriting, accounting, compliance, audit, and information technology. You will be responsible for translating conceptual customer requirements into clear functional requirements that are easily understood by technicians. Additionally, you will manage multi-state, multi-line accounts throughout the policy life cycle, which includes rating, pricing, quoting, and issuing policies, as well as handling related account activities. Your participation in the development of operational KPIs and service standards will be crucial, as will your ability to process transactions and navigate varied workflows based on the line of business, company, state, and specific regulations. While not mandatory, familiarity with analyzing and interpreting various bureaus such as ISO, AAIS, and/or NCCI, as well as company proprietary rates, rules, and forms, is preferred. A strong understanding of Cyber, Technology Errors and Omissions, and/or Privacy/Security Liability is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Process transactions and follow varied workflows dependent upon line of business, company, state, specific rules, and regulations.
  • Analyze and interpret various bureaus (ISO, AAIS, and/or NCCI) and/or company proprietary rate, rules, and forms (preferred but not required).
  • Maintain current knowledge of Cyber, Technology Errors and Omissions, and/or Privacy/Security Liability.

Requirements

  • 25 years of full-time work experience.
  • 10 recent years of insurance industry experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Ability to analyze and interpret various bureaus (ISO, AAIS, and/or NCCI) and/or company proprietary rate, rules, and forms.
  • Current knowledge of Cyber, Technology Errors and Omissions, and/or Privacy/Security Liability.
