About the position

At WAHVE, we are dedicated to transforming the insurance industry by providing seasoned professionals with the opportunity to continue their careers from the comfort of their homes. Our unique platform allows individuals to phase into retirement while still contributing their valuable expertise in a remote, long-term position. We believe in offering a real work/life balance, enabling our team members to customize their work schedules according to their preferences. This role is ideal for those who have significant insurance experience and are looking to leverage that knowledge in a flexible work environment. As a Business Analyst in Insurance Operations, you will play a crucial role in liaising with various operational areas such as underwriting, accounting, compliance, audit, and information technology. Your primary responsibility will be to translate conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements that are clear and comprehensible to technicians. You will manage multi-state, multi-line accounts throughout the policy life cycle, which includes rating/pricing, quoting, and issuing policies, as well as handling related account activities. Additionally, you will participate in the development of operational KPIs and service standards, ensuring that all processes align with the company's goals and regulatory requirements. The position requires a keen ability to analyze and interpret various bureaus such as ISO, AAIS, and/or NCCI, as well as company proprietary rates, rules, and forms. While this skill is preferred, it is not mandatory. A strong understanding of Cyber, Technology Errors and Omissions, and/or Privacy/Security Liability is highly desirable.
