As a Business Analyst in Insurance Operations, you will play a crucial role in liaising with various operational areas such as underwriting, accounting, compliance, audit, and information technology. Your responsibilities will include translating conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements that are clear and comprehensible to technicians. You will manage multi-state, multi-line accounts throughout the policy life cycle, which includes rating/pricing, quoting, issuing policies, and handling related account activities. Additionally, you will participate in the development of operational KPIs and service standards, process transactions, and follow varied workflows based on the line of business, company, state, and specific rules and regulations. A strong understanding of bureaus such as ISO, AAIS, and/or NCCI, as well as current knowledge of Cyber, Technology Errors and Omissions, and/or Privacy/Security Liability, is highly desirable but not mandatory.
