About the position

The Business Analyst for Insurance Operations will play a crucial role in defining, analyzing, and supporting global procedures related to the company's multinational network business. This position focuses on the impact of Facultative and Treaty reinsurance on various operational processes, including Underwriting, Claims, Finance, and Reinsurance Accounting. The analyst will be responsible for developing business requirements, managing changes, and enhancing workflows to improve operational efficiency and compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Responsibilities

• Define, analyze, develop, document, and support global procedures for the multinational network business.
• Focus on the impact of Facultative and Treaty reinsurance on various operational processes.
• Develop and document global multinational business requirements, including new systems functionality and workflows.
• Manage requirements changes impacting multinational network business in various systems.
• Define and enhance existing operations workflows and cross-departmental engagements.
• Document and provide oversight in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and deployment testing.
• Develop operational solutions for new and existing network opportunities.
• Manage data reconciliation for multinational business and ensure maintenance requirements are reviewed.
• Identify training and development needs through analysis and partner with Training and Development.
• Develop and support business partnerships and represent the department with internal customers and vendors.
• Conduct detailed analysis for root cause determination related to audits and metrics.
• Define, develop, implement, and ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Identify and implement Best Practices and process improvements across the division.
• Present recommendations and enhancements to stakeholders to improve performance and turnaround times.
• Assist in other aspects of network development as needed.

Requirements

• 5 years of Business/Operations analysis experience
• Insurance industry experience
• Multinational global operations experience
• Commercial Property experience
• Knowledge of Commercial Underwriting, Claims, or Reinsurance is a plus
