About the position
The Business Analyst, IT Projects will manage and optimize data-driven solutions, reporting systems, and project workflows across various business functions. This role focuses on BI analytics, ERP, and business applications, transforming raw data into actionable insights, reports, and dashboards for internal teams and stakeholders. The incumbent will leverage project analyst and project management skills to effectively plan, monitor, and execute IT projects, ensuring alignment with business requirements and project goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize data-driven solutions and reporting systems.
- Transform raw data into actionable insights, reports, and dashboards.
- Plan, monitor, and execute IT projects effectively.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical requirements.
- Identify, plan, direct, and coordinate project activities to ensure deliverables are met on schedule.
- Analyze, create, develop, validate, and optimize report/data output specifications.
- Define and provide detailed specifications for new reports and their distribution methods.
- Consult with stakeholders to define requirements and provide workable solutions.
- Work with subject matter experts in design, build, and validation sessions.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure functional requirements are met.
- Develop and maintain relationships with project resources, IT leadership, and vendors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum five years of business analyst experience with responsibility for capturing functional and technical requirements.
- Experience with analytics dashboards, reporting, and BI analytics.
- Experience with ERP systems, integrations, and other business applications.
- Thorough understanding of agile project management methodology.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Project and Excel.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Three or more years' experience in an IT Business Analyst role.
- Two or more years' experience in a Project Management role.
- Experience in Healthcare, life sciences, and/or supply chain management.
- Professional certifications such as CSPO, CAP, CSBA, PMI-PBA.
