About the position
The Business Applications Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting and enhancing the functionality of the Oracle E-Business Suite and other applications within a manufacturing environment. This position involves close collaboration with IT and business teams to ensure that applications meet organizational needs effectively.
Responsibilities
- Perform analysis, modification, and daily functional support of the Oracle E-Business Suite and other non-Oracle applications.
- Work closely with Information Technology and business personnel to understand business requirements.
- Ensure that developed and purchased applications function properly to meet business needs across the organization.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience working with end users in a formal Business Analyst role.
- Experience in requirements gathering, analysis, application design, and testing.
- Experience working in an IT capacity in a manufacturing environment, especially with Supply Chain.
- Ability to gather and interpret relevant data and information.
- Experience working with integrated systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows operating system and Office applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and team skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or related field.
Nice-to-haves
- Oracle EBS experience preferred.
- Process Management experience is a plus.
