About the position

As the Business Analyst Manager - Compensation at Apple, you will oversee the development and implementation of global compensation programs, ensuring competitive compensation for employees. This role involves advising on compensation strategies, managing projects across different time zones, and collaborating with business leadership and HR partners to support Apple's talent strategy. You will act as a domain expert in compensation processes and systems, particularly in Workday, and will be responsible for educating and training team members on these processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of Global Compensation programs.
  • Advise on the implementation, communication, and administration of global compensation programs.
  • Craft an innovative compensation strategy aligned with Apple's Global Compensation Philosophy.
  • Manage projects, deadlines, and communications across different time zones.
  • Act as the domain expert on Compensation business processes and systems requirements.
  • Partner with People Services & Technology to implement compensation processes in Workday.
  • Define complex processes and business rules for compensation.
  • Own compensation aspects of Workday infrastructure and execute annual compensation events.
  • Build and validate business requirements and create User Acceptance Testing plans.
  • Influence security configurations and manage system access for the Compensation team.
  • Contribute to multi-year system planning and roadmaps for operational excellence.
  • Maintain relationships with key cross-functional partners including People Services & Technology, IS&T, and Payroll.

Requirements

  • 8+ years experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Strong knowledge of global HR operations including compensation processes.
  • Deep expertise in Workday and Workday Advanced Compensation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior experience as a People Manager.
  • Results-oriented with a comfort in ambiguity.
  • Excellent communication skills with a track record of building positive relationships.
  • Highly analytical with a passion for using data to influence decisions.
