About the position

As a Business Analyst in the Life Product Technology team, you will collaborate with stakeholders and project teams to assess, recommend, and implement business process solutions aimed at improving and streamlining existing processes. This role requires a deep understanding of business requirements and the ability to drive successful execution throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Understand, document, and maintain business requirements, including existing challenges/issues and success criteria.
• Assess feasibility with the project team and facilitate solutioning efforts.
• Provide guidance to stakeholders on solution options.
• Drive successful execution of the end-to-end lifecycle.
• Provide status updates to stakeholders and project leadership team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of experience in Life Insurance
• Strong understanding of Financial Services (life insurance and retail annuities)
• Technical liaison between Financial business partners, IT Team, and applicable third-party vendors.
• Ability to brainstorm and research/resolve issues creatively to meet objectives and long-term strategy.
• Ability to represent as a leader in both a business and technology capacity.
• Must be a self-starter and comfortable working autonomously and with ambiguity.
• Ability to work with senior management, business, and IT areas to influence decision making.
• Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to adapt to change.
• Ability to proactively take ownership of projects and drive to completion.
• Identify and support process improvements that provide business value.
• Detail-oriented with demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
