About the position

The Business Analyst at Intralot, Inc. is responsible for interfacing with customers to capture application requirements and lead the testing process for software applications. This role requires a deep understanding of the US lottery market and software testing methodologies, along with effective communication skills to liaise with customers and technical staff. The position is onsite and involves maintaining documentation, enforcing project deadlines, and managing resources according to project schedules.

Responsibilities

• Interface with new and existing customers to understand and capture application requirements in the form of technical specifications.
• Lead the testing process of applications developed by the technical staff.
• Develop knowledge of the US lottery market and software testing methodologies.
• Communicate effectively with customers, technical staff, and the parent company in Greece.
• Maintain updated end-user system manuals/documentation.
• Assist in enforcing project deadlines and schedules.
• Manage resources in accordance with project schedules.
• Develop and maintain functional specifications and system design specifications.
• Lead system, client acceptance, and all life cycle testing efforts.
• Ensure Virtual Prototypes and System Simulators are kept up to date.
• Write test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test summaries.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, IT, or similar field, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Five years experience as a Business Analyst.
• Understanding of lottery online and instant game application programming, database and system design.
• Knowledge of Internet, Intranet, Extranet, and client/server architectures.
• Understanding of web-based systems.
• Focus on testing with a verifiable history of excellent written and oral communication skills.
