About the position

The Business Analyst position at Airswift involves working with a major LNG client in Houston, focusing on process safety, EHS, and operations assurance. The role requires managing projects from concept to execution, collaborating with subject matter experts, and ensuring operational safety and efficiency through tailored solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of projects related to process safety, EHS, and operations assurance.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather high-level requirements and develop project scopes.
• Translate high-level business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications.
• Design, implement, and execute projects while ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
• Conduct testing, training, and post-implementation support to ensure solutions are fully integrated and operational.
• Provide risk assessments and recommend safety measures to minimize operational hazards.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities for process optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on process safety, EHS, and operations assurance.
• Proven experience in managing 2-3 projects related to process safety, EHS, and operations assurance, from project scope development to execution.
• Strong understanding of safety standards, regulations, and best practices in the oil and gas industry.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
