About the position

The Patient Operations Business Analyst at Bristol Myers Squibb will play a crucial role in driving requirements analysis for technical capabilities needed by the Global Patient Operations Team. This position focuses on collaborating with various internal teams, managing user stories, and ensuring effective communication between technical and functional teams to enhance patient care through digital innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the POSI team to manage relationships and expectations.
  • Drive end-to-end documentation of user stories for GPS releases in Jira.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including scheduling, partners, and product management to document business requirements.
  • Conduct functional verification of user stories before passing them to the testing team.
  • Collaborate with the BMS Hyderabad team on user stories and requirements clarification.
  • Work with technical and integration teams on integration mapping.
  • Participate in Salesforce and integration defect triage and assist in defect management.
  • Engage in grooming sessions with business and IT teams.
  • Participate in requirements and design sessions as a Global Patient Services functional SME.
  • Collaborate with the GPS technical architect and delivery team to hand off requirements and provide explanations as needed.
  • Provide cross-functional business and functional leadership for GPS applications and participate in the IT intake process.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for GPS functionality and guide the future roadmap.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in a relevant field, typically gained through a university degree.
  • Experience with Salesforce applications as a business analyst or technical analyst is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a global environment and manage relationships across different time zones.
  • Experience in business process analysis and improvement, including benefit estimation and post-implementation metrics.
  • Working knowledge of Jira for managing user stories.
  • Product management and stakeholder management experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in an agile delivery environment.
  • Proven ability to lead initiatives related to continuous improvement.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders across various business organizations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator or Advanced Administrator certification(s) preferred.
  • Experience working within a GxP environment preferred.
