The Business Analyst for the Perfect Order Experience at Amazon.com Services LLC plays a crucial role in ensuring customer trust and satisfaction on the platform. This position involves leveraging data to identify and solve real-world problems, building technology innovations, and implementing policies that enhance the seller experience. The analyst will work with extensive datasets, develop metrics and reports, and communicate insights to stakeholders, all while contributing to a culture of inclusion and work-life balance.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain recurring metrics and reports
• Complete ad hoc data retrieval and analysis using relational databases, Excel, and other data management systems
• Monitor existing metrics, develop and propose new metrics, and identify new, actionable risk signals
• Design and implement reporting solutions enabling stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions
• Support cross-functional teams on the day-to-day execution of projects and initiatives
• Help develop requirements and specifications with business and development teams
• Effectively communicate insights to key stakeholders through both written and verbal communication

Requirements

• 1+ years of tax, finance, or a related analytical field experience
• 2+ years of complex Excel VBA macros writing experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
• Experience with SQL or ETL
