About the position

Cognizant is seeking a highly qualified Business Analyst/Product Manager with extensive experience in developing and building impactful, scalable enterprise applications. This role involves collaborating with product managers, designers, and clients to deliver valuable software solutions while ensuring alignment with project goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background and be proficient in various project management tools, contributing to the success of the team and the satisfaction of customers.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document business requirements to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with customers to gather and validate requirements ensuring clarity and completeness.
• Use MS Visio to create detailed process flows and diagrams that accurately represent business processes.
• Employ Jira for supervising project progress, managing tasks, and ensuring timely completion of work.
• Use WIKI and Atlassian Confluence to maintain comprehensive project documentation and facilitate mentoring.
• Conduct system analysis to identify gaps and propose solutions that enhance business processes.
• Provide detailed reports and presentations to partners highlighting key findings and recommendations.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure accurate translation of business requirements into technical specifications.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and provide updates on project status.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in business analysis and system design.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management and team members.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with business and system analysis activities.
• Support testing and quality assurance efforts by providing detailed requirements and acceptance criteria.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in business analysis or product management.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to create clear and reliable data.
• Proficiency in MS Visio for crafting detailed process flows and diagrams.
• Extensive experience with Jira for project tracking and task management.
• Expertise in using WIKI and Atlassian Confluence for documentation and mentoring.
• Good interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, for optimal collaboration with partners.
• Deep understanding of the Payer domain and its specific requirements.
• Experience in collecting data from primary and secondary sources to analyze market trends, customer needs, and preferences.
