About the position

The Business Analyst/Project Manager role at Cedar's Mediterranean Foods, Inc. is a hybrid position that combines responsibilities of project management, business analysis, and category analysis. The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional projects, analyze business requirements, and develop data-driven strategies to enhance category performance and profitability. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, analytical skills, and project management expertise to meet business objectives efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough analysis of business processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Develop business cases, perform cost-benefit analyses, and recommend actionable solutions related to pricing and promotions.
• Analyze category performance, including sales trends, market share, and competitive positioning.
• Compile, manage, and distribute quarterly Nielsen data.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify and capitalize on category opportunities.
• Lead and manage multiple projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and status reports.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues to ensure smooth execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in project management, business analysis, and/or category analysis roles.
• Proven experience managing cross-functional projects with a strong focus on delivering results.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
• Proficiency in Excel and Power BI to create templates for company use.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.

Nice-to-haves

• Consumer Package Goods experience and past sales team support experience.
• Experience with SQL.
