About the position

The Business Analyst role at Robbins Gioia, LLC is a critical position supporting the Air Force customer in optimizing business operations within the federal acquisition enterprise. The analyst will provide guidance and information to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the client's contracting business, improving user experience and operational outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and information to improve the client's contracting business.
  • Identify potential areas of concern and streamline business operations.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to discuss practices, intents, goals, and objectives.
  • Present findings, adjustments, key performance indicators, and recommendations to organizational leaders.
  • Learn and analyze customer business systems and processes.
  • Work with functional experts to identify needs and priorities.
  • Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions with subject matter experts.
  • Translate business needs into requirements such as user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Build business process models to support requirements.
  • Participate in and support Agile processes and associated meetings with the development team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in business management, statistics, computer science, or engineering.
  • 5+ years of Business Analysis experience.
  • Elicitation and facilitation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to accommodate occasional nationwide travel (anticipated at one week per quarter).
  • Active (or within window to reactivate) Secret Clearance (US Citizenship required).

Nice-to-haves

  • Willingness/ability to learn to read code in XML.
  • Knowledge/Experience in Federal Government Acquisition and Contracting Process.
  • Agile Certification.
  • IIBA Certification.
  • Basic understanding of Government infrastructure, cybersecurity regulations, and network connectivity.
