About the position

The Business Analyst at F5 Networks is responsible for providing analytics that support strategic sourcing and cost management activities. This role involves collaborating across the organization to deliver data solutions that drive insights and actions, ultimately leading to optimal sourcing results. The analyst will work with various data sources and provide support to commodity managers in areas such as cost analysis, spend metrics, and decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver data solutions including ad hoc analysis and data visualizations based on requirements from internal customers
• Propose, design and develop data solutions to support business activities
• Work with incomplete data while creating high confidence-level recommendations
• Collaborate with business partners to manage complex, multi-source data
• Provide data analytics support to commodity managers on cost, spend and other business metrics as needed
• Support commodity managers on maintaining component pricing master file
• Provide data/analytics support on RFx events
• Support product cost roll-up and reconciliations
• Assist commodity managers on component costing and quotes as needed
• Provide other analytics support to assist with decision making
• Manage projects as assigned
• Maintain courteous and professional working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in business, engineering, supply chain, operation related fields
• 2 years of data analytics working experience
• Familiarity with statistical analysis
• Excellent spreadsheet skills
• Proficiency in Tableau or other visualization tools
• Strong analytical skills and experience with reporting and data analysis
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with ability to articulate data analysis simply
• Ability to work independently in a multifaceted fast-paced environment, with minimal supervision
• Very detail-oriented and comfortable working with large amounts of data
• Prior experience in supply chain, manufacturing, commodity management field is a plus
