About the position

The Business Analyst (SEPA/Single Euro Payments Area) role focuses on analyzing and enhancing payment systems, specifically within the SEPA framework. The ideal candidate will collaborate with teams across regions to integrate and build payment systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in payment processing. This position requires a strong understanding of various payment structures and schemas, as well as the ability to identify gaps and propose solutions through APIs.

Responsibilities

• Help teams across regions in successfully integrating and building payment systems.
• Understand and analyze payment structures and schemas, specifically SEPA, SWIFT MT ISO15022, SWIFT MX ISO20022, CHIPS Legacy, and FED Legacy formats.
• Review incoming and outgoing payments for errors or discrepancies within the integrated workflow cycle.
• Draft Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs).
• Conduct gap analysis and provide solutions through APIs.
• Provide integration support to upstream and downstream systems.
• Utilize test-driven development and CI/CD practices and tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Autosys.

Requirements

• Experience in business analysis and functional knowledge in payments and related domains.
• Strong understanding of SEPA Insta payments and SEPA Classic Payments.
• Experience in drafting BRDs and FRDs.
• Ability to identify gaps and provide solutions through APIs.
• Good analytic and triage skills during the course of RCD.
• Experience with RDBMS, preferably Oracle.
• Familiarity with Agile and Kanban methodologies.
