About the position
The Business Analyst Specialist position is a critical role within our organization, focusing on the implementation and configuration of OneTrust solutions. This position requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to work collaboratively within a hybrid team environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, facilitating discussions with stakeholders, and ensuring that the solutions provided meet the needs of the business. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to support the end-to-end software development life cycle (SDLC), ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within scope. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in SQL and Tableau to analyze data and generate reports that provide insights into business performance. You will also utilize your knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices to contribute to project planning and execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in using Jira for project management and will be comfortable working with MS 365 Suites, particularly advanced Excel functionalities. As a Business Analyst Specialist, you will be expected to work with minimal supervision, making critical decisions and providing valuable input throughout the project lifecycle. Your experience in analysis, testing, and implementation will be essential in ensuring the successful deployment of OneTrust solutions. This position is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension, and it requires onsite presence in McLean, VA, following a hybrid work model.
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business requirements for OneTrust solutions.
- Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals.
- Utilize SQL and Tableau to analyze data and generate insightful reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Contribute to project planning and execution using Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
- Manage project tasks and documentation using Jira.
- Provide critical input and make decisions with minimal supervision.
- Support the implementation and configuration of OneTrust solutions.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of experience with OneTrust (configuration, implementation).
- Proficiency in SQL and Visio.
- 2+ years of experience with Jira.
- Advanced skills in MS 365 Suites, particularly Excel.
- Experience with Tableau for data visualization.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and working within a Scrum team.
- 7+ years of experience in analysis, testing, and implementation.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with RPython.
- Knowledge of Visual Basic.
