About the position

The Business Analyst at Stanford Health Care plays a crucial role in analyzing and managing projects within the Specialty Pharmacy department. This position involves handling data requests, conducting audits, and preparing reports on reimbursement trends and budget variances, all aimed at improving operational efficiency and compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Manages assigned projects in the designated department.
• Performs data analysis and summarizes findings for management.
• Prepares responses to data requests and assists with audits from outside agencies and internal self-monitoring.
• Reviews budgets and analyzes and reports on budget variances.
• Works to improve documentation practices and provides ongoing effective feedback to stakeholders.
• Maintains policies and procedures along with adherence to them.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in a work-related field/discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience.
• High level of comfort with Microsoft Products (Excel, Word, Visio, Outlook).
• Experience extracting, summarizing and analyzing data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
