About the position

The Business Analyst, Strategy and Operations role at Visa Consulting and Analytics focuses on driving financial and operational performance for the consulting organization. This position involves managing resources for projects, reconciling project and revenue data, and collaborating with various teams to enhance user experiences and create new products. The analyst will support the North America VCA team by developing project pipelines, managing vendor onboarding, and assisting with budget management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop project pipeline and resource management reporting for PxD.
  • Assist with PowerPoint presentations.
  • Manage PxD resources for projects and verify the staffing data.
  • Reconcile project and revenue data.
  • Manage the PxD professional services fee budget.
  • Develop expense forecasts by quarter and year.
  • Report status of pro fee budget to senior leadership in VCA and Finance.
  • Manage the administrative and operational aspect of vendor selection and onboarding process.
  • Collaborate with the Visa procurement team to submit Request for Proposals (RFP) and Statements of Work (SoW).
  • Collaborate closely with Sourcing and Controllership functions to resolve vendor management issues.
  • Support broader S&O team with ad hoc strategic projects.

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Master's Degree in Business.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in developing executive-level presentations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing complex projects.
  • Collaborative approach with internal and external partners.
  • Resilient in navigating through ambiguity and translating the theoretical to applicable.

Nice-to-haves

  • 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 2 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD).
