About the position

The Business Analyst, Supply Chain Operations plays a crucial role in collaborating with various stakeholders to support assigned projects. This position involves developing requirements and design documentation, conducting process analysis, and assisting in testing strategies to enhance operational efficiencies within the supply chain.

Responsibilities

  • Document current and future state processes and conduct gap analysis for assigned projects.
  • Work with user communities to understand and document business requirements for assigned projects.
  • Evaluate complex business processes to identify needs, problems, and opportunities.
  • Develop strategies to maximize opportunities and value delivery.
  • Engage with business leaders and users to understand how data-driven changes can improve efficiencies and add value.
  • Write business cases for future potential projects.
  • Lead estimation and provide input for planning of future work with the Project Management Office.
  • Deliver assigned tasks in alignment with project plans and estimates.
  • Participate in project communications and meetings to promote project goals and changes.
  • Lead design reviews and code/configuration walkthroughs with technical and functional teams.
  • Lead retrospective events with a continuous improvement mindset and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Keep current with business and strategic goals and develop knowledge of University roles and processes.
  • Participate in smaller projects/enhancements, delivering tasks in alignment with project plans.
  • Work closely with functional and technical testers to prepare test plans and scenarios.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Data Science, or Engineering required.
  • 3 years of relevant experience required, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
  • Excellent leadership, written and verbal communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills required.
  • Proven track record executing multiple work streams and producing consistent results required.
  • Ability to distill technical information into succinct and digestible information for a broad, non-technical audience required.
  • Extensive computer literacy, including Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Clinical or higher education experience preferred.
  • Experience with project management from planning through implementation preferred.
  • Service, JIRA, and/or Project Portfolio Management (PPM) software experience preferred.
  • Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA) or Professional Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) preferred.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $63,815 - $95,723 annually based on experience and qualifications.
