About the position

The Requirements Analyst/Tester will be an integral part of an agile team focused on supporting the LibraryIQ platform releases and associated business functions. This role involves collaborating with the Product Manager, subject matter experts, and IT team members to gather and clarify business requirements, as well as conducting functional testing and documenting essential project artifacts such as requirements, user stories, and specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Product Manager and IT team to collect and clarify business requirements.
  • Conduct functional testing and document requirements, user stories, wireframes, and specifications.
  • Partner with business and IT team members to understand key business processes and application functions.
  • Write Requirements, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, Test Cases & Steps, and perform system testing.
  • Assist developers with troubleshooting failures and improving current processes.
  • Assist the Product Manager with backlog management.
  • Contribute to and lead sprint and release reviews, release demos, and user documentation as needed.

Requirements

  • A BS/BA degree in a related field and comparable industry-related experience are required.
  • 1 - 2 years of IT industry experience.
  • Familiarity with system development methodology.
  • Experience writing User Stories and Use Cases.
  • Experience in Functional Testing.

Nice-to-haves

  • Technical acumen in web and data technologies.
  • Experience with Agile work management tools (Jira, VersionOne, etc.).
  • Strong skills in Requirement Analysis.
  • Experience in Web Application testing.
