About the position

The Business Analyst in the Transformation Office at QVC plays a crucial role in supporting the Transformation Finance Lead by providing business decision support and ensuring that transformation initiatives drive cash impact. This hybrid remote position involves financial tracking, project management, and collaboration with various stakeholders to assess and validate the financial implications of transformation projects.

Responsibilities

  • Review projects submitted for Transformation Office Finance approval and prepare necessary briefings for final approval.
  • Work with Initiative Owners and Finance teams to ensure consistency in the valuation of initiative impacts, including validating business cases.
  • Perform financial tracking of progress against commitments, focusing on value delivery and timing.
  • Segregate the financial impact of the transformation from baseline performance.
  • Assist the Transformation Office Finance Lead in resolving resource allocation, project management, financial, and risk issues.
  • Support the CFO in integrating transformation commitments with budgets and forecasts.
  • Perform trend analyses to forecast future monthly impacts and compare against financial goals.
  • Make recommendations to Initiative Owners and the Transformation Office Finance Lead to resolve new issues or leverage positive trends.
  • Anticipate and recommend solutions for financial issues that arise.
  • Conduct analysis to derive conclusions and provide feedback and action plans to leadership for implementing change.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in ownership of reporting and analysis deliverables for corporate transformation.
  • 3+ years of experience solving data challenges to uncover insights based on business understanding.
  • 3+ years of experience collaborating with Real-time Strategy counterparts to lead transformations.
  • 3+ years of experience partnering with and supporting Process Leads and Initiative Owners.
  • 3+ years of experience using a Program Management tool.
  • 3+ years of experience reviewing P&L impact in a corporate transformation.
