About the position

The Business Analyst - Web & Audio/Visual Support at Cayuse Technologies is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Office of Language Services (LS). This role focuses on managing interpretation and translation project management, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and maintaining audio-visual equipment and services. The position requires a blend of technical skills and strong communication abilities to facilitate effective operations and support for various projects.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot simultaneous interpreting training/testing equipment and control center as well as video teleconference services and equipment used by the office.
  • Operate, monitor, ship, store, track, and troubleshoot portable simultaneous interpreting equipment owned or leased by office for use on interpreting assignments.
  • Update and maintain office internal and public-facing websites, social media accounts.
  • Draft business procedure and policy documentation related to portable and built-in simultaneous interpreting equipment and other audio-visual equipment and services for office.
  • Assist Contracting Officer Representatives in coordinating maintenance, repair, and replacement of equipment as needed.
  • Facilitate support for video teleconference services and equipment, communication related to office AV systems among LS Management Analysts, Department IT specialists, Bureau and vendor IT project managers, and LS program officers.
  • Maintain inventory of non-expendable equipment and property held by office in cooperation with Bureau inventory specialists.
  • Extract assignment and equipment loan/rental/usage information from office program management system and invoice management system.
  • Track internet connection rates and issues affecting office web conferencing and remote simultaneous interpreting support.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Training or experience operating audio-visual equipment or software.
  • Training or experience with HTML or WordPress.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
  • Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.
  • Must possess problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to respond effectively to customers with a sense of urgency.
  • Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe toolsets, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc.
  • Highly motivated with the ability to handle and manage multiple tasks at any one time.
  • Ability to forge new relationships, individual and teaming in nature.
  • Must be a Self-starter, that can work independently and as part of a team.

Benefits

  • Competitive hourly pay range of USD $50.00 - USD $56.00 /Hr.
