About the position

Join Aston Carter as a Business Analyst, where you will leverage your data analysis skills to enhance efficiency and reduce waste in company processes. This role is pivotal in driving data integrity and supporting key business decisions through effective data management and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manage and analyze data for inventories to provide factual information that drives decision-making.
• Create robust data collection and integrity systems to report and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Develop and enforce methodologies for balanced scorecards and standardized reporting.
• Oversee training programs and audits for Team Leaders and Production Team Managers to ensure data accuracy.
• Work closely with Process Engineers to maintain data integrity within processes.
• Lead initiatives to reduce paperwork by implementing advanced data collection technologies.
• Identify variances between standard and actual costs for capacity planning.
• Handle month-end closing activities, variance investigations, and root cause analysis through KPIs.
• Review annual budgets and forecasts for accuracy and alignment with financial strategies.
• Initiate IT requests to enhance business analysis and functional needs.
• Manage technology-driven projects to control labor and material costs.
• Participate in group efforts to collect and analyze metrics, continually improving processes.
• Place requisitions for department supplies and equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years in the manufacturing industry (cosmetics, personal care, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, consumer goods).
• Advanced MS Office skills, financial modeling, analytical skills, employee management, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills (Spanish a plus).
