About the position

The Business Analyst position at an alternative asset management firm involves monitoring the firm's financial position and providing forecasting and modeling for current and future activities. The role supports various non-investment team activities, including strategic modeling, business development, and investor relations.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical and project support for the firm's non-investment team activities, including strategic and transaction modeling.
• Support business development through capital market comparisons and portfolio monitoring and analysis.
• Maintain the firm's forecasting model while incorporating strategic options.
• Research and develop work products for projects across the platform, analyzing new business opportunities and market competitors.
• Perform capital structure relative value analysis and track capital markets activity across the firm's portfolio.
• Support the firm's weekly/monthly & quarterly portfolio monitoring process and ongoing analytics to track portfolio construction and performance.
• Assist the Investor Relations (IR) function as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4-7 years of experience in the financial services industry.
• Experience with FP&A work and credit analysis.
• Strong analytical and writing skills.
