About the position

The Business Analyst position focuses on reviewing financial statements and customized shareholder reports for SEC-registered investment funds. The role ensures accuracy, regulatory compliance, and integrity in financial reporting, while also addressing technical accounting issues and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Independently review financial statements and shareholder reports for approximately 45 SEC-registered funds, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Confirm that fund statements meet SEC guidelines and U.S. GAAP standards.
• Address technical accounting and disclosure issues and work collaboratively with auditors and third-party administrators to resolve any concerns.
• Complete checklists and maintain records to support audit requirements and process transparency.
• Cultivate strong relationships with fund auditors, custodians, administrators, and other service providers.
• Follow prescribed policies and uphold standards in all review activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 2 years of experience in business analysis or financial reporting.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with shareholder reporting for registered investment companies.
• Strong understanding of SEC reporting requirements and U.S. GAAP.
