About the position

The Business Analyst role at NTT DATA involves performing discovery and analysis of requirements based on current system functions and business needs. The position requires translating business requirements into functional requirements, producing data maps, and interpreting data to analyze results. The analyst will also develop and implement databases and data collection systems to optimize statistical efficiency and quality, while identifying trends in complex data sets and prioritizing business needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform discovery and analysis of requirements based on current system functions and business needs.
• Elicit business requirements.
• Translate business requirements to functional requirements.
• Clarify any questions the engineering team has.
• Produce data maps between source and target systems.
• Interpret data and analyze results.
• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
• Project coordination.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
