About the position

The IT Business Analyst role at INSPYR Solutions is a contract position focused on collaborating with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, design solutions, and support project management efforts. The position is fully remote and requires a strong understanding of business processes and IT systems, along with excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and objectives.
• Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather detailed business requirements.
• Document and prioritize business requirements, ensuring they are clear, concise, and testable.
• Analyze business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop detailed functional specifications, use cases, and process flow diagrams.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all projects and processes.
• Work closely with IT teams to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements.
• Ensure that proposed solutions are aligned with the overall business strategy and IT architecture.
• Assist in the development of prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions.
• Support project planning and execution, including defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure that solutions meet business requirements.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback from end-users.
• Ensure that any defects or issues are resolved in a timely manner.
• Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and processes.
• Develop user manuals, training materials, and other documentation as needed.
• Act as a liaison between business users and IT support teams to resolve any issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of business processes and IT systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with project management methodologies and tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies is preferred.
• Azure, AWS, and GCP certifications or knowledge preferred.
• Candidate must be a US Citizen, Green Card holders are not allowed due to US Government contractual requirements.
