About the position

The Business Analyst will support the organization's business processes by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders across the agency to identify business needs, document requirements, and support the development of solutions, ultimately driving efficiency and improving business processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering and analyzing data to support business initiatives
• Document and communicate business requirements to relevant stakeholders
• Support the development and implementation of business and data workflows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement
• Assist in preparing reports and presentations for management
• Participate in project meetings and provide input on project deliverables
• Coordinate and facilitate proposal pricing and associated invoicing
• Support budget and expense tracking for multiple programs
• Maintain an organized system for contract document management, ensuring all files are up-to-date, easily accessible, and compliant with company policies and legal requirements
• Perform regular audits of contract files to verify completeness and accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in related field or at least three years related experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in MS Office with advanced expertise in Excel
• Basic understanding of data analysis techniques
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• High level of professionalism and adherence to confidentiality
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to make data driven decisions within the scope of agency policy.
