About the position

The Business Analyst position at Innova Solutions involves working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into actionable requirements for the Development Team. This role requires a deep understanding of both business and technical domains, providing thought leadership based on extensive experience in software implementations. The Business Analyst will influence stakeholder strategies, conduct cost/benefit analyses, and ensure compliance with bank standards while supporting application testing and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and capture requirements.
  • Perform impact analysis and refine requirements into specifications for the Development Team.
  • Influence stakeholder strategy and help envision solutions to problems.
  • Establish relationships with business and technology leaders across multiple organizations.
  • Lead cost/benefit analysis to align technology solutions with business strategy.
  • Gather and catalog functional, non-functional, and technical requirements for stakeholder requests.
  • Act as the subject matter expert within the business/technical domain.
  • Determine the impact of modifications and enhancements to applications.
  • Assist with identifying integration points and end-to-end solution design.
  • Ensure changes to applications comply with bank standards and policies.
  • Work closely with vendors to ensure compliance with bank requirements.
  • Assist users and development teams in application testing and troubleshooting.

Requirements

  • 5-10+ years in the Technology industry.
  • 3-5 years hands-on experience with SWIFT products: SWIFT Alliance Gateway, SWIFT Alliance Access, SWIFT Web Platform, SWIFT Net Link.
  • Knowledge of all SWIFT messaging formats and demonstrated experience in SWIFT protocols.
  • Strong communication skills including written, verbal, and visual presentations.
  • Ability to think creatively to deliver business results independently and as part of a team.

  • Basic awareness of business products, services, and strategy.
  • Basic understanding of financial data and its impact within a team.
  • Facilitates team planning ceremonies against backlog/prioritized work.
  • General awareness of testing practices.
  • Basic knowledge of automation and continuous delivery practices.
  • Understanding of architecture and bank standards.
  • Knowledge of data management practices and technologies.
  • Basic understanding of experience design principles.
