About the position

The Business Analyst position at BCforward involves supporting multi-million-dollar Technical Security initiatives through advanced data analysis and reporting. The role requires proficiency in business applications, data management, and the ability to create insightful dashboards and presentations for executive leaders. This is a hybrid position based in Columbus, OH, with an expected duration of 8 months, transitioning from a contract to a permanent role.

Responsibilities

• Support multi-million-dollar Technical Security initiatives by analyzing and reporting complex SQL datasets on the backend and Excel exported datasets on the front end.
• Support design, build, management, and configuration of easily understood dashboards.
• Craft exciting, polished, and articulate PowerPoint presentations for executive leaders.
• Perform complex reporting data analysis; understand, synthesize, infer, and present results using advanced PowerPoint presentation techniques.
• Collect and analyze/measure key performance metrics.
• Ability to rapidly learn to navigate software and understand how data is generated and reported from front and back end.

Requirements

• Proficient in knowledge of business applications, data usage, and word processing.
• Experience with data management tools and flow-charting tools.
• Ability to understand the logic of code and construct simple data queries.
• Advanced business and data analysis skills.
• Knowledge of business process and application management.
• Advanced knowledge of change management and business continuity.
