About the position
As a Business Analytics Consultant within PNC's Balance Sheet Management organization, you will provide modeling and analytics support to enhance financial reporting and performance metrics. This role involves analyzing interest rate risks, executing valuation analyses, and leveraging analytical tools to create data-driven solutions. The position is primarily based in Pittsburgh, PA or Cleveland, OH, with some flexibility for remote work at the manager's discretion.
Responsibilities
- Deliver financial reporting performance metrics to key internal stakeholders and leadership.
- Perform interest rate risk scenario analysis to assess profitability impacts.
- Execute valuation analysis on various balance sheet categories.
- Leverage SQL, Python, Excel, and/or QRM to streamline data analysis.
- Partner with Model Risk Management to review assumptions and identify improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- Master's degree from a STEM-focused curriculum or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of statistical modeling and financial analytics.
- 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with predictive analytics and business intelligence tools.
- Familiarity with financial engineering or financial mathematics.
