About the position

The Business Analytics Int Analyst is a developing professional role focused on analyzing operational data to enhance business decision-making capabilities. This position requires a solid understanding of data analysis tools and methodologies, as well as the ability to communicate complex information effectively. The analyst will work independently to solve problems and will have a moderate impact on the business through close collaboration with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Gathers operational data from various cross-functional stakeholders to examine past business performance.
• Identifies data patterns & trends, and provides insights to enhance business decision-making capability in business planning, process improvement, and solution assessment.
• Recommends actions for future developments & strategic business opportunities, as well as enhancements to operational policies.
• May be involved in exploratory data analysis, confirmatory data analysis, and/or qualitative analysis.
• Translates data into consumer or customer behavioral insights to drive targeting and segmentation strategies, and communicates findings clearly to business partners and senior leaders.
• Continuously improves processes and strategies by exploring and evaluating new data sources, tools, and capabilities.
• Works closely with internal and external business partners in building, implementing, tracking, and improving decision strategies.
• Assesses risk when business decisions are made, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

Requirements

• 2-5 years relevant experience
• Advanced process management skills, organized and detail-oriented
• Curious about learning and developing new skillsets
• Positive outlook with a can-do mindset
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and best practices related to fraud modeling and risk management
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
• High level of attention to detail
• 1-2 years using SQL queries and Excel
