About the position

The Business Analytics Senior Advisor for Evernorth Accountable Care focuses on developing value-based care models and networks to enhance patient, provider, and client outcomes. This role emphasizes fee-for-service contracting and will evolve into value-based care contract design and evaluation, supporting the overall strategy of the Evernorth network.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct fast-paced, in-depth analytics to inform network contracting decisions
  • Perform scenario testing to identify the best contract terms for proposals to network groups
  • Collaborate with payer teams to develop a comprehensive Evernorth network
  • Research and identify best practices in value-based care contract design
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses in partnership with the contracting team to advise providers on performance and guide new value-based care opportunities
  • Develop and propose innovative VBC contract structures and build new models to assess their viability and impact

Requirements

  • 6+ years hands-on experience in healthcare specific analytics, finance, and/or actuarial/underwriting
  • Strong healthcare specific data and analytics skills
  • Background or knowledge in medical economics or network contracting is highly preferred
  • Proficiency in technical tools and platforms such as Excel, R Studio, SAS, SQL, Databricks and data visualization tools
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to derive actionable insights from data
  • Ability to collaborate effectively, communicate clearly, manage complexity and drive results
  • Ability to navigate and contribute within a highly-matrixed environment
  • Adept at building new collaborative relationships
  • Go getter who enjoys problem solving and creating innovative solutions in partnership with various stakeholders
  • Thrives in a dynamic, rapidly changing, and ambiguous environment
